I can't believe another year has flown by this quickly, but I guess that's what happens when you are busy having fun. In 2021, I was a guest on 11 podcasts and recorded and published 16 episodes of The Game of Nerds Podcast. THAT'S 27 EPISODES THIS YEAR ALONE! These episodes not only give me a space to chat about the things I love and am passionate about, but I also get to meet new parents and nerds around the world. This year, Andy and I finally learned the importance of locking the office door when you live with a toddler as we experienced "The Microphone Fiasco of 2021". Nothing like recording six podcasts on a broken microphone in a single weekend to ruin your productive mojo. While it was frustrating, to say the least, the fiasco allowed me to focus on getting Choosing Childcare 101 finished. I promise there will be more webinars and information available in 2022.   • In this episode with Amanda Gorman, I discuss the importance of chatting about childcare with your partner and family before your child even arrives. This includes what help will look for you and your child for that first year and beyond.

  • I chat with fellow nannies, Marie and Tessa, about my experience working with the special needs community as a nanny and how nannies can work with families who need this kind of special care for their children.

• Money Bo$$ Podcast - Navigating Childcare Decisions

  • One of the most important topics around childcare is the cost, so I loved doing this episode with Top CFP Anna Sergunina. We talk about parents being "sticker shocked" by the price of childcare and what they can do to prepare for this cost.

• Parenting + Business Podcast - The Marvels of Parenting & Business

  • This may be the shortest podcast episode release this year, but every minute is pure gold. I was thrilled to chat with Josh, the DADPRENUER, about juggling parenting and business. The biggest takeaway from this episode is adjusting expectations.

• Precarious Parenting Podcast - Transition from Nanny To Mom

  • In this episode, I reflect with Marie about how I went into becoming a mother thinking I had all the answers and how that wasn't the case at all. We talked about the ups and downs I experienced, just like any other first-time parent.

• Thirty, Nerdy, and Thriving Podcast - Geeking Out About Parenting

  • If there is one thing I love most, it is a nerdy mom. They are like my special people. This episode is nothing but two moms nerding out. We talk about everything from how we grew up as female nerds to what we hope our kids learn from the nerd world.

  • Not only can you listen to this episode, but you can also watch this episode on Youtube. This joint episode with The Game of Nerds was an absolute blast. We took a trip back to the best decade ever, the 90's and my experiences during that time.

• Lexi's Lounge - Episode 8: Mompreneurs: What Motherhood and Entrepreneurship Actually Looks Like

  • Lexi is an amazing mom I met earlier this year and ran a Clubhouse Mom's Club together called Momosa Saturday. We instantly clicked and have been messaging each other non-stop ever since. This episode was not only my last guest spot of the year, but the episode my soul needed most. Lexi and I break down the messy reality of running a business and being a mom, all while laughing.
